Hello! I’m Steve
I am a licensed massage therapist based on the Connecticut Shoreline, with 20 years of experience in therapeutic bodywork. My goal is to support you on your journey to a pain-free life by helping reduce the adaptive demands placed on your body by chronic or unexplained pain. Through my work, I aim to empower you with greater control over your well-being and quality of life.
In 2023, I began formal training in the John Barnes Approach to Myofascial Release (MFR) and have found that, when applied with attentiveness, this gentle yet highly effective approach provides lasting—and sometimes permanent—pain relief by alleviating pressure on pain-sensitive structures. While MFR is a powerful treatment on its own, it also complements traditional physical therapy and chiropractic care, often accelerating recovery both before and after surgery.
To further enhance the benefits of each session, I integrate Craniosacral Therapy, which helps reset the nervous system to a deeply relaxed state, allowing the body to process the work more effectively.
Beyond my dedication to continuous learning and professional growth, I enjoy playing tennis, practicing martial arts, traveling, exploring new restaurants, taking trips to NYC, practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, and with my wonderful "nieces"—a dog and a cat.
